As far as I know, siya rin ang director nitong movie. It wouldve worked better for me if iba na lang yung naging female lead instead of her. Pace Wu wouldve been ok since she has a supporting role in the movie. Hindi ko kilala tong si Xu Jinglei so I’m judging her from this movie alone.

Ang story eh about kay Du Lala (Xu Jinglei) na nag-start as a secretary in a top company in Beijing, at ang kanyang promotions through the years while maintaining a relationship with the company’s sales director David Wang (Stanley Huang). During her first year in the company, David was dating Rose (Karen Mok), an HR executive but when they broke up, she and David became close and started dating. Pace Wu is Helen, David’s secretary and Lala’s friend. Una silang nag-meet during her first day at work sa company. David is claustrophobic so he doesnt take the elevator but that day, occupied yung stairs so he was forced to take the elevator. Tapos naging close sila dahil they always stay at work really late and when they were in Bangkok. They ended up having a one night stand in Bangkok pero pagbalik sa Beijing eh iniwasan na ni Lala si David. Pero ang nakakatawa eh she became his secretary. Alam niya namang andun din si Lala so malaki talagang possibility na makita niya yun (or is that Rose’s purpose?)

Palibhasa parehong inglisero at inglisera! Haha!
